The perfect fit for Micheline & Gerhard

We’d like to welcome outstanding exhibition dancers Micheline & Gerhard, runners-up at Blackpool this year, to the DSI family of Elite Performers. In fact, it’s a welcome back for our former poster girl Micheline.

At the last minute, DSI stepped in to create a new outfit for Micheline at Blackpool. “I can't even begin express the gratitude I have for DSI,” she says. “The most beautiful purple all-in-one outfit with a mixture of stones was presented to me and it worked like a charm.

“With a couple of alterations, it was good to go. Nothing fits better than a DSI outfit; it's so professional and well made. True artistry.”

Blackpool this year was a challenge for the pair, but an exciting one. “I had just recovered from breaking both my elbows and started a new partnership with Gerhard van Rooyen,” explains Micheline. “However, it felt so amazing to be back on the floor and to be sharing it with Gerhard.

“We are so excited for the future and looking forward to the hard work we will be putting in. With DSI it’s like a family and it feels incredible to be back working with them. Gerhard and myself couldn’t be more honoured and privileged to represent DSI.”

Look out for more of our gorgeous creations modelled by Micheline. DSI London will also provide shoes and trousers for Gerhard, whose exhibition work doesn’t always require a top!
