Tail suits for leading ladies!

Did you know that DSI London is proud to make tail suits for leading ladies as well as for the gents?  

Same-sex champions Caroline Privou and Petra Zimmermann are known for their many triumphs on the Ballroom floor and for breaking down boundaries in open competitions too, so when Caroline was looking for a bespoke tail suit we were very happy to oblige.

She explains: “For a lady with the leading part in a same sex-dance partnership there is a fine line between an optimal design of a traditional tail suit, which incorporates her physique and her character, and an exaggerated masculine design, where she loses her physique and where only the tail suit comes through.

“It is may be not so difficult to design a great lounge suit for a female dancer but to make a tail suit look natural on a woman definitely takes some thought.

“DSI London has done much thinking and hard work, together with using its wide-ranging experience, to combine my feminine features best with the traditional tail suit design. And I feel they have done very well!

“On the one hand, we have a really great tail suit that brings all the best features of ballroom dance like spectacular lines and soft flow of movement into the spotlight and on the other hand it fits my physique perfectly.
