Strictly Dresses - Week 4
For Week 4, of Strictly Come Dancing 2016, Vicky Gill designed two beautiful examples of just how versatile lace can be. Two lace dresses for two quicksteps and two very different looks produced here at DSI London.
The centre-piece of Oti's dress for her Quickstep with Danny Mac was the stunning Metallic Spanish Rose Stretch Lace. The iconic Spanish Rose lace design is infused with Metallic thread which creates a luxurious shine. The scalloped lace edging of the fabric was used to form the one shouldered neckline. The silvery toned Velvet rhinestones and Capri Gold Preciosa rhinestones were used to accentuate the lace design and glamorous feel of the dress.
Laura's rose prink dress with waisted circle skirt was topped with wide Austrian Guipure lace. The black mesh back panel and the contrast of the pink and black added an edge to compliment the song choice. The bold lace and striking colour combo needed no rhinestones, the bow at the waist, black satin edging and straps are the perfect finishing touches to the look!
Both lace dresses, both gorgeous but very different effects.
