Strictly Dresses - Week 2!

Strictly Week Two was spectacular! The fun, the glamour and the suspense was in full force. This week we will be looking a little closer at three of the gorgeous dresses from the show.

Joanne's Cha cha dress

Joanne wore a flame inspired dress for her Cha cha with Ore Oduba to 'Hot Stuff'. It began as a black base with a sexy black mesh back and mesh inserts. The flirty hem was edged with crinoline to give structure. It was the perfect touch for adding movement and volume to the sheer mesh skirt. The real action comes into the design with the stunning hand applied rhinestones. Using a palette of Sun, Light Topaz and Ruby rhinestones, flames were added to perfectly fit the theme of the dance and coordinate with Ore's shirt.

Oksana's American Smooth dress

Oksana looked beautiful in her prom inspired dress for her american smooth with Judge Rinder. This sweet design featured a fashionable illusion neckline created with Tan mesh and Rose Gold rhinestones. The full waisted skirt featured a beautiful coral lace with coral sequins topped with a layer of white twinkle adding to the girly romance of the look.

Once again the master craftsmen who apply the rhinestones had us flawed by creating the rhinestone bodice design inspired by lace in the skirt. They used tiny flat back pearls in SS16 & SS10, White Opal and Transmission rhinestones to create the intricate design.

Natalie's Tango dress

Green is not often a colour that springs to mind when you say Tango but Vicky skilfully displayed with Natalie's dress just how much drama and intensity our Emerald shade can give. The simple silhouette of the Emerald stretch satin Ballroom dress was trimmed with our colour coordinating stiff net which added gorgeous texture to the hem. Emerald jewellery stones at the neckline and evenly spaced rhinestones made the perfect glamorous accompaniment to complete the look.
