Strictly Dresses - Blackpool!

Blackpool week! The magic week of Strictly Come Dancing where everything gets kicked up a notch for the big trip to Blackpool. This week we will be sharing with you what goes into creating two of the glamorous dresses as seen on Strictly Come Dancing, Oti's Charleston dress and Oxana's Salsa dress. Both dresses were designed by Vicky Gill and produced here at DSI London.

Oti's Charleston Dress

Bringing all the glamour and style of the 20's, Oti looked amazing in this gorgeous gold and red Latin dress for her Charleston with Danny Mac. The combination of gold drop beads and the stunning multiple tones of rhinestones create a luxurious movement and shine perfect for a Charleston. The drop waist skirt and thick straps infuse the signature 20s style.

Oxana's Salsa dress

This dress is a whole lot of fun. Densely packed rainbow shades of rhinestones were applied expertly by hand on mass for serious sparkle. Coordinating rhinestones were also used to highlight the beautiful shapes of the guipure lace. Ruffled texture at the hem of the full skirt adds to the fun salsa feel of the dress.
