With autumn on the horizon, Strictly Come Dancing is fast approaching and this year’s series looks to be an exciting, but emotional, one.

With the sad passing of Sir Bruce Forsyth, to whom, producers have promised, there will be a special tribute in the opening show, as well as the retirement from Strictly of beloved head judge Len Goodman, it promises to be a year of change.

But it’s not all about goodbyes. This year sees the debut of new head judge, Latin legend Shirley Ballas – an iconic former champion, who gave one of her first interviews to DSI TV at Blackpool this year.

The BBC show also officially welcomes 15 new celebrities to the Strictly family, who have now been announced, when it airs on 9 September and pairs them up with their professional partners. We can’t wait to see what they have got up their sequinned sleeves.

And, as always, with creative genius Vicky Gill at the helm, DSI London looks forward to helping the celebrities get dressed for success. Keep an eye out for our As Seen on Strictly series detailing the inside stories of some of our favourite costumes each week.

Plus, don’t forget for the month of September, DSI’s dress hire scheme means you can hire anything you have seen on one of our Elite Performers or on Strictly Come Dancing for just £500 for six months or for £250 for the weekend. To find out how, call 020 8664 8188 or email Emma@dsi-london.com
