Strictly 2016 Launch Show Dresses

It's here! The nation's favourite dance show, Strictly Come Dancing, is back on our screens. The Strictly 2016 launch show featured a whole host of costumes from alien inspired looks, to bold mixes of colour and the first look at the celebs in Ballroom and Latin costumes designed by Vicky Gill. Three of our favourite looks were Naga's Scarlet dress, Laura's Mellow dress and Daisy's Flamenco dress.

One of the big trends for this episode was the DSI London drop beads. Each of these stunning couture dresses produced for Strictly here at DSI London feature the drop beads and yet each dress has a very different feel.

Naga's Scarlet dress

Naga wore a fun, flirty and absolutely glamorous Scarlet Latin dress. Red jewellery stones were used to create a necklace effect for the halterneck neckline and the skirt was fully fringed with stunning drop beads in Hyacinth AB and Hawaiian pink. Each drop bead is carefully applied by hand by our master craftsmen at DSI London for a luxurious look that has absolutely stunning movement.

Laura's Mellow dress

Laura's dress was like a drop of sunshine on the red carpet. The Mellow dress was embellished with a striking deep V shape of Crystal AB sew-on stones. The real statement of the dress is the drop beads that cover the dress. Once again the beads are applied individually by hand to blend the colours flawlessly for a graduated affect. Daisy's Flamenco dress

There is something so iconic about a Flamenco red latin dress. Daisy looked stunning in her creation featuring statement drop beads in Light Siam down the centre of the dress contrasted with 1340 Fishnet in Flamenco side panels. It was a sophisticated sexy dress fit for a bombshell.
