Launch Show
It’s that time of year again and with Strictly Season well under way after the launch show, we will be featuring elements of the dresses week by week from now until Christmas.
We’ll take an in depth look at the trends and highlights showcasing on the programme.
As worn by Georgia May Foote
As the youngest competitor in Strictly Come Dancing 2015, Georgia May could pull off this fun, bold DSI Apple Blossom Green colour beautifully!
Made with DSI matt Lycra, she wore a simple straight neckline leotard with halter neck straps.
Her waist was accentuated in a wide Stretch Satin band and movement was added to the skirt with four layers of hand stoned, hand cut fringe made with matt DSI Lycra.
The entire dress was neatly decorated – with rhinestones heavier round the neckline and neck straps using Peridot green Preciosa ss20 rhinestones; this dress was perfect for her and her dark colouring.

Kellie was a vision in blue at the launch last Saturday.
She wore a wraparound number in DSI Aqua Lycra, with Aqua Desire Lace on the back and a Stretch Satin belt.
Hidden underneath was an Aqua Lycra leotard decorated with crystal ab stones into decorative swirling patterns using a mixture of sew on stones and ss20 Crystal AB rhinestones.
This was finished off with the on trend tassel Cut Beads in Pale Turquoise to the skirt, cut into points on the hem.
This dress was full of movement and texture and complimented Kellie’s blond hair and blue eyes perfectly.

For Anita’s launch show dress, our designer Vicky Gill put her in striking DSI Sunrise yellow.
It's a complex design with large cut out sections filled with strap detailing.
With inspiration from the 1920’s flapper girl, the tactel fringe skirt reacted to every movement Anita made on the red carpet.
The main base of the dress was constructed from a sunrise Lycra lining with a stretch mesh overlay.
This provided a strong base for the thousands of rhinestones used to decorate this garment.
With a mixture of Citrine ab and Topaz stones in various sizes this dress doesn’t stop sparkling.
As worn by Helen George
Helen wore an outfit with an unusual twist; it was two in one! With a tan leotard made with DSI Mesh, a Latin skirt with shaded Bugle Beads AND a dipped hem layered ballroom skirt of Stiff Net – lined with all 6”, 3” and ½” crinoline, this outfit had twice the wow factor!
It was cinched in at the waist with a narrow Champagne Stretch Satin belt to cleverly disguise the seam of the two skirts.
Embellished with our Champagne Emily Lace Ribbon made into motifs and decorated heavily with Preciosa stones and a low ‘v’ neckline at the front; this outfit was one to watch at the launch show last Saturday.
As worn by Jamelia
You couldn’t miss Jamelia in her DSI Tangerine and Hawaiian pink finished dress last Saturday.
She wore a DSI Crepe Tangerine number cut into points on the skirt hem.
The perfect colours for her complexion were accentuated with a deep ‘V’ neck front, lined with Sun AB Preciosa rhinestones which followed all the way down the deep cut open back.
The ‘criss-cross’ strap detailing on the back were also covered in theses stunning rhinestones and were also used in between the beading detail.
The entire dress was covered in the very ‘on trend’ Cut Bead droppers in Tangerine, with the pointed hem accentuated and shaded into Hawaiian Pink Cut Beads.

It seems Katie’s asymmetric dress was made with movement as the key feature in mind for the launch.
Made with sheer DSI Mesh in Amethyst and with Lilac Cut Beads adding movement as it is – they were hand applied to petal shaped pieces of DSI Mesh which covered the entire outfit.
The neckline, shoulder straps and decorative straps across the deep cut open back were finished off with a mixture of Aquamarine and light Amethyst SS20 Presiosa stones and various large sew on stones including Light Turquoise Swarovski sew on stones; truly stunning piece that really sparkled in the spotlight.
