Junior Blackpool Report

Junior Blackpool has come to a close and what an exciting dance festival it was! We would like to say a massive congratulations to all our DSI Elite performers that dance in the Junior Blackpool: Oliver Beardmore, Kayleigh Andrews, Erik Linder & Rickie Taylor, Glenn Boyce & Caroly Janes, Daniel Wright & Ella Perry, Jamie Meah & Mia Mazzitelli and Korey Andrews & Maddie Ingoldsby.
We would love to give a special mention to Glenn & Caroly who are the new Junior Ballroom Champions and were absolutely superb, well deserved Champions.
Another special mention goes to Erik & Rickie who placed 4th in Junior Samba, 7th in Junior Jive and 10th in Junior Latin, beautiful dancers!
Oliver and his partner Lydia were sensational placing 4th in Junior Latin with a 1st in Jive.
Kayleigh Andrews was incredible as always! She and her partner placed 6th in Junior Latin.
We are also very proud to have been part sponsor of the Junior British Team dressed in Ocean blue and full sponsor of the Juvenile British Team! It has been a great honour. Both teams danced wonderfully and did Great Britain proud. The outfits looks fantastic!
The juvenile team looked lovely in our vibrant red colour Flamenco. For Latin the girls wore the Kayleigh and Maddie juvenile Latin dresses. For Ballroom the girls wore the Lizzie Ballroom dress and a zeta skirt with a custom leotard. The boys looked sharp in crepe shirts with button, ties, DSI logo cuff links, our 1072 Latin trouser with a satin stripe and our new 2 pleat Ballroom trousers.
