Dance is Life

Strictly Come Dancing’s much-loved Italian pro, three-time finalist and double Guinness World Record holder, Giovanni Pernice, is bringing his sell-out 2017 tour Dance is Life back to theatres from this week onwards!  

The smash hit dance spectacular is choreographed by Jason Gilkison, Strictly Come Dancing’s creative director, and promises to be even bigger and better than before, with more costumes, more sparkle and more glitz – and you can be sure, with DSI London creating the costumes, that promise will be kept!

We are thrilled to be working with Giovanni again, whose show features two sections – in the first, Giovanni tells the story of “Being Italian”, while the second tells a story, through dance, based on the lives of Giovanni’s grandparents when they first met in Palermo, Sicily.

Headlined by Pernice, Dance is Life also features seven other world-class professional dancers, including Strictly’s newest pro, Luba Mushtuk, who returns as Giovanni’s leading lady once again, to continue their alluring partnership, plus Trent Whiddon who partnered Pixie Lott on Series 12 of Strictly Come Dancing.

The showcase of wonderful Ballroom and Latin dances will include the paso doble, the waltz, the rumba, and the jive, to name just a few, with a beautiful Italian theme running throughout the show.
