Celebrity reveal!

As you may have read, the very first Battle of the Ballroom, which will be sponsored and filmed by DSI, debuts on Sunday 14th October at Trinity Park Ipswich.

Now, we can reveal the celebrity judge on the day will be no less than actress Ali Bastian, star of Hollyoaks, The Bill and, of course, Strictly Come Dancing in 2009.

On Strictly, Ali put in a memorable performance, stunning the judges with her beautiful ballroom and making it to third place with her partner Brian Fortuna, whom she later joined in the West End run of Burn the Floor.

As one of the three judges in the Battle of the Ballroom, Ali will have significant clout in deciding the winning pair. She will be joined by technical judge Jackie Conway and YOU, the audience, who can vote for your favourite couple via an app if you can’t make it to Ipswich on the day.
