BLACKPOOL: the final countdown!!!

On the build-up to Blackpool Dance Festival, which runs from 23 May to 2 June, DSI TV are offering a series of free-to-view events usually only available to our subscribers.

On the countdown to Blackpool, the first of DSI’s free live streamed events was Freedom to Dance on 13 May, where the best Professional and Amateur Ballroom and Latin dancers in the world gathered at the Copthorne Hotel Effingham Gatwick for four gripping competitions, as well as a range of glamorous Pro-Am events.

Next up was the prestigious Carl Alan Awards, also at Copthorne Hotel Effingham Gatwick, on 19 May, which will be free to view on the DSI TV website. Known as the “Oscars of the dance world”, the awards honour those who have made a significant contribution to dance, such as teachers, performers and choreographers.

The spectacular evening, which is staged by Michael Stylianos and Lorna Lee, also includes world-class cabaret performances and music from the Syd Lawrence Orchestra. Experience it all, free of charge, from the comfort of your sofa.

The third event you can view free this month is the Killick Royale, which was live streamed from Mayfair, London, on 21 May. It’s a glamorous affair held in the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, with a rich variety of competitions for everyone from beginners to world champions. Don’t miss it!
