With Blackpool Dance Festival just on the horizon, we can share more details about the DSI TV live stream this year.
DSI TV will be live streaming more than 150 hours from the Empress Ballroom, with our coverage starting for the Pro-Am events on 21st and 22nd May preceding the main festival.
The live stream will continue for the official festival from 24th May to 1st June, beginning at around midday each day and continuing throughout the evening. For the first five days, the early rounds will be filmed using the bird’s-eye camera, with a view from the floor capturing the action from the semi-finals onwards.
The full multi-camera coverage, featuring expert commentary from Martin Cutler and Richard Miller, starts on Tuesday 29th May and runs until 1st June for the major Amateur and Professional Ballroom and Latin Championships.
We’re also proud to introduce a special new daytime programme this year, running from 29th May to 1st June, showing highlights of the previous day, as well as current live events and interviews.
This free-to-view new segment will be the perfect introduction to DSI TV, but if you’d like to get the most out of Blackpool Dance Festival, you need to subscribe.
