Behind Closed doors

We are proud to say DSI’s Elite Performers enjoyed a very fruitful trip to Bournemouth at the end of last month for the UK Closed. Our very own Glenn Richard Boyce and Caroly Jänes enjoyed a hugely successful few days, making it a hat trick with wins in the UK Closed Junior Ballroom, Latin and 10-Dance Championships. It was a wonderful way to conclude their time competing in the Junior category before moving up to Youth.

Meanwhile, DSI’s talented Lloyd Perry and Rebecca Scott came second in the UK Closed Amateur Latin Championship, with DSI Elite Performer Luke Miller being placed fourth in the same fabulous final with his partner Ellie Beacock.

It was also a fabulous few days for Max Draper and Olivia King, two of DSI London’s youngest Elite Performers, who returned from Bournemouth laden with trophies, coming second in the UK Closed Juvenile Ballroom Championship, the UK Closed Juvenile Latin Championship, the Bournemouth Masters Juvenile Ballroom, Bournemouth Masters Juvenile Latin and Bournemouth Masters Juvenile 8-Dance Championship. Our warmest congratulations go to them and, as always, to all our Elite Performers.
