And the winner is…

At the end of Strictly Come Dancing last year, we ran a competition asking viewers to write in and tell us about their favourite dress from this season with the prize of a pair of tickets to DSI’s extremely popular Behind the Seams tour up for grabs.

Now, we’re very happy to reveal the winner: Julie Parry from Redditch, who picked Faye Tozer’s gold showdance dress as her favourite.

She wrote: “Full of old school glamour, oozing elegance and class, the top fitted her perfectly, the wide waistband showed off her tiny waist, and the sparkle graduating down into the full skirt was stunning.

“Having just started ballroom classes myself I would love this dress!! She reminded me of the J’adore by Dior perfume bottle – stunning in gold, slender and elegant – and the dress suited the dance perfectly and helped achieve its perfect 40.

Julie concluded: “What a wonderful series. I look forward to seeing Erin’s dresses when I see Anton and Erin on tour soon –you’re all so clever, the dresses are beautiful.”
